Swarojgar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SLBBL) has scheduled its 16th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 29th Baisakh, 2082. The gathering will take place at the Nepal Academy, Kamaladi, Kathmandu, commencing at 11 AM on that date.
Among various items on the agenda, the AGM will sanction a 14.62507% dividend amounting to Rs. 9.81 crores for the fiscal year 2080/81. The 283rd session of the board of directors, held on Falgun 21, resolved to allocate the dividend based on the paid-up capital of Rs. 67.11 crores. A proposal includes 13.89382% bonus shares valued at Rs 9.32 crores and a cash dividend of 0.73125% (for tax purposes) totaling Rs 49.07 lakhs.
Additionally, there is a plan to approve the auditor’s report along with profit and loss statements, financial reports, and cash flow statements for FY 2080/81, as well as to appoint an auditor for the fiscal year 2081/82. The proposal grants the Board of Directors the authority to manage any company-related mergers or acquisitions.
The book closure date is set for Baisakh 11. Consequently, shareholders on record before this date will be eligible to receive the dividend distribution and are also invited to participate in this AGM.
