Sahas Urja Limited (SAHAS) has scheduled its 12th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on the 24th of Mangsir, 2082. The gathering will take place at Karki Banquet, Babarmahal, Kathmandu, commencing at 11:00 AM on that day.
In addition to other topics, the AGM will approve a 22.1053% dividend for shareholders for the fiscal year 81/82. The company has revealed a proposal to allocate a 21% bonus share alongside a 1.1053% cash dividend to its shareholders. This decision received endorsement during the Board of Directors meeting convened on the 24th of Kartik 2082. The cash distribution will be utilized for tax-related matters concerning the bonus shares.
Moreover, there is a plan to ratify the auditor’s report, including profit and loss statements, financial documents, and cash flow statements, as well as appoint an auditor for the fiscal year 2082/83. Following the distribution of bonus shares, the company intends to issue rights shares at a 1:1 ratio based on the recalibrated paid-up capital.
The book closure period starts from Mangsir 05. Consequently, shareholders who are registered before that date are eligible for the dividend payout and can participate in this AGM.
