The NPR 5 billion bond was oversubscribed by 3.8 times, reflecting robust investor faith in green financing.
This bond, offering a 6% yearly interest with a 7-year duration, aims to finance clean energy initiatives such as hydropower and solar under the Green, Resilient, and Inclusive Development (GRID) scheme. The allocation occurred at NIMB Ace Capital’s office in Kathmandu, with the presence of representatives from regulatory bodies and stakeholders.
