As of June 1, 2025, the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced an increase in the prices of petroleum products across the country. The adjustments are as follows:
- Petrol: Increased by NPR 2 per liter, now priced at NPR 159 per liter.
- Diesel and Kerosene: Each increased by NPR 1 per liter, now priced at NPR 143 per liter.
- Liquefied Petroleum (LP) Gas: Remains unchanged at NPR 1,910 per cylinder.
These changes are effective immediately and apply to retail prices in Kathmandu. Despite the recent hike, fuel prices remain below the peak levels recorded on June 20, 2022, when petrol reached NPR 199 per liter, and both diesel and kerosene were priced at NPR 192 per liter.
