Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has adjusted the rates of petroleum products. Starting from Monday, the government has raised the price of petrol by Re. 1, and diesel along with kerosene by Rs. 2 per liter. However, the price of LP gas has remained stable.
Under the revised pricing, petrol now costs Rs 160 per liter, while diesel and kerosene are priced at Rs 145 per liter (in Kathmandu). Likewise, the LP gas is available at Rs 1,910 per cylinder.
On June 20, 2022, prices for petrol, diesel, and kerosene peaked at Rs 199 per liter, Rs. 192 per liter, and Rs. 192 per liter respectively.
