In the first 11 months of the current fiscal year, Nepal has collected Rs. 10.27 Kharba in revenue, according to the Ministry of Finance. This figure, recorded up to Jestha 31, 2082, marks a  increase of Rs. 88 Arba compared to the same period last year, when revenue collection stood at Rs. 9.39 Kharba.

The revenue collected so far accounts for 83.22 percent of the government’s target for the period, which was set at Rs. 12.34 Kharba.

In the month of Jestha (May-June) alone, the government amassed Rs. 94.02 Arba in revenue, a notable rise from the Rs. 85.11 Arba collected during the same month in the previous fiscal year.

The Ministry of Finance attributes this growth to improved tax compliance, streamlined collection processes, and a recovering economy.
