Ncell has established itself as Nepal’s pioneering telecom provider to roll out Voice over LTE (VoLTE) international roaming for travelers both leaving and arriving. This provides customers with the opportunity to experience high-definition (HD) voice calls and rapid data services when journeying overseas. Following its initial rollout of inbound VoLTE roaming for foreign visitors, Ncell has now initiated outbound VoLTE roaming, commencing with India, in collaboration with Airtel.
VoLTE technology guarantees quicker call connections and exceptional voice clarity over 4G networks. Ncell is also evaluating outbound roaming with leading global operators such as Jio, Vodafone, AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Softbank, NTT Docomo, China Mobile, China Unicom, Bell, and Telus, with the goal of broadening its international roaming network. The company is dedicated to improving connectivity for international roamers visiting Nepal and Nepali travelers abroad.
