Narad Luintel has been designated as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). This choice was finalized during the Cabinet assembly convened on Monday evening.
Luintel, a 45-year-old hailing from Hariwan, Sarlahi, was chosen from a pool of shortlisted candidates. He possesses a master’s degree in commerce from Tribhuvan University and has a wealth of experience in leadership positions across both governmental and non-governmental organizations.
In the past, he held the position of Chairman of the Taragaon Development Committee under the Ministry of Tourism from 2015 to 2019. Luintel has also played an active role in the tourism sector and academia for a significant period.
