Mountain Energy Nepal Limited (MEN) has scheduled its 12th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the 29th of Mangsir, 2082. The gathering will take place at Amrapali Banquet Catering & Events in Bhatbhateni, Kathmandu, commencing at 10:00 AM on that date.
Among the various matters to be discussed, the AGM will ratify a dividend of 21.0526% for the fiscal year 2081/82. The 134th board meeting which convened on Kartik 20 has recommended a 20% dividend for the fiscal year 2081/82. A proposal for 20% bonus shares along with a 1.0526% cash dividend (for taxation purposes) has been made.
Additionally, there is an agenda to approve the auditor’s report, along with the profit and loss statements, financial disclosures, and cash flow statements, as well as to appoint an auditor for the fiscal year 2082/83. There is also a proposal to enhance the meeting allowances.
The book closure date is set for Mangsir 17. Thus, shareholders who are registered prior to that date are eligible for dividend distribution and can participate in this AGM.
