Mountain Energy Nepal Limited (MEN) has put forward a dividend proposal of 21.0526% for the fiscal year 2081/82.
During the 134th session of the board of directors that took place on Kartik 20, a dividend of 20% has been suggested for the fiscal year 2081/82. This includes 20% bonus shares and a cash dividend of 1.0526% (for tax considerations).
The distribution of the dividend is contingent upon receiving approval from the Electricity Regulatory Commission and ratification by the company’s forthcoming AGM.
Mangsir 17 has been designated as the book closure date. Therefore, shareholders who have held onto their shares up to this date will qualify for the dividend distribution and are permitted to participate in the AGM.
MEN’s stock closed at Rs. 622.00 yesterday.
