Madhya Bhotekoshi Jalavidyut Company Limited (MBJC), in partnership with the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), has officially designated the Commercial Operation Date (COD) of its hydropower initiative to Ashwin 20, 2082, at 12:00 PM.
This resolution was validated by the Coordination Committee on 29 Ashwin, 2082, and official notifications from NEA’s Electricity Trade Department on Kartik 19, 2082, formally acknowledged the COD commencing from Kartik 20, 2082 at 3:15 PM. The declaration signifies the official commencement of the project’s commercial electricity generation.
