The second is an east-west route spanning 20 kilometers one-way, starting from Thankot and moving through Satungal, Kalanki, Kalimati, Tripureshwor, Thapathali, Maitighar Mandala, Baneshwor, Minbhawan, and Tinkune, concluding at Tribhuvan International Airport. A fleet of 4 electric buses will serve these routes.
The service will be operational from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with buses scheduled to arrive at specific stops every 20 minutes. To ensure passenger security, the buses will be equipped with CCTV cameras and municipal police will be present on board.
Acting Chief Dangol emphasized that the aim is to create a service that is modern, integrated, convenient, safe, reliable, and sustainable, and that the Metropolitan City is eager to collaborate with partners to realize this goal.
