Gold prices in the Nepali market maintain their upward trend, achieving a historic peak with a substantial Rs. 800 increase within a single day.
The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association reports that the price of pure gold has soared to Rs. 176,000 per tola, exceeding the prior day’s price of Rs. 175,200 per tola.
Tejabi gold also faced a significant rise, now valued at Rs. 175,300 per tola, climbing from Rs. 174,500 per tola from the previous day.
This recent increase establishes a new high, eclipsing the former record of Rs. 175,200 per tola set on March 18, 2025.
In contrast, silver prices have decreased by Rs. 5 per tola, lowering the rate to Rs. 2,045 per tola.
