Gold prices in the Nepalese market have soared to an all-time high, jumping by Rs. 4,000 in just one day.
As reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, the cost of fine gold has surged to Rs. 174,500 per tola, surpassing the rate of Rs. 170,500 per tola from the previous day.
Tejabi gold also experienced a significant rise, now priced at Rs. 173,800 per tola, up from Rs. 169,800 per tola just a day earlier.
This spike marks a crucial milestone, following the record established on February 20, 2025, when fine gold hit Rs. 171,000 per tola.
Additionally, silver prices have increased by Rs. 50 per tola, now reaching Rs. 2,050 per tola, in contrast to Rs. 2,000 per tola the day before.
