Prices for gold and silver in Nepal have skyrocketed to unparalleled heights, maintaining the robust upward trajectory in the local bullion market.
As reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the value of fine gold surged by Rs 2,400 per tola on Sunday, achieving a historic peak of Rs 303,800 per tola.
The fine gold had earlier reached Rs 301,400 per tola on January 23, 2026, before eclipsing its own benchmark.
Tejabi gold also experienced a notable rise, climbing by Rs 2,400 per tola to hit Rs 303,100 per tola, up from the previous Rs 300,700 per tola.
Silver followed the ascending pattern, adding Rs 290 per tola to close at a fresh record high of Rs 6,190 per tola, in comparison to its last rate.
