Elon Musk, the richest person globally and the mind behind xAI, has disclosed his intention to establish an AI gaming development studio, aspiring to transform the industry through artificial intelligence.
During the reveal of xAI’s latest AI model, Grok-3, Musk stated: “We’re launching an AI gaming studio at xAI. If you’re interested in collaborating with us to create AI games, feel free to join xAI.” In a different remark, he expressed his desire to “restore the greatness of games.”
This revelation may not be shocking, given Musk’s fervent enthusiasm for video games. He has previously criticized game developers for infusing political themes into their creations, arguing that it detracts from the immersive experience for players.
“Video games are meant to immerse you in thrilling and imaginative alternate realities and enjoy time with friends. Injecting contemporary political nonsense ruins the enjoyment,” he shared on X.
