Asian Life Insurance Company Limited (ALICL) has proposed a 5.3684% dividend amounting to Rs. 18.25 Crores for the fiscal year 2080/81.
In the 204th board meeting held on Jestha 25, it was resolved to issue 5.1% bonus shares alongside a 0.2684% cash dividend (for tax purposes). These bonus shares total Rs. 17.33 crores, while the cash dividend exceeds Rs. 91.25 lakhs. ALICL’s current paid-up capital stands at Rs. 4.82 Arba.
This dividend proposal awaits the green light from the Nepal Insurance Authority and the forthcoming AGM.
